Use the heavy duty scour sponge end (red) for stubborn marks and stains that require a stronger scrub (due to its scrubbing power, it's not recommended for items that can be easily scratched).
Use the cellulose sponge end (yellow) for a scratch-free wash and rinse, even with your most delicate dishes.
The scour material (nylon, non-woven fabric, abrasive stone, synthetic resin) is made in Italy, and the cellulose sponge material (derived from natural pulp) is made in France, and it is then meticulously produced/packaged in Korea, so you can rest assured you are getting the highest quality sponges.
